Man charged with murder in fatal stabbing at store on remote Manitoba First Nation

Mounties say a 58-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 36-year-old man on a remote northern Manitoba First Nation.
RCMP say officers were called to an assault at the Northern Store in Shamattawa on Friday afternoon.
Authorities say they found a man with what appeared to be a stab wound. The victim was taken to the nursing station, where he died of his injuries.
A suspect, who knew the victim, was still on the scene and placed under arrest.
Police continue to investigate.
