Downtown restaurant demolished after catching fire twice this week

Downtown restaurant Boujee was demolished Saturday afternoon after it had caught fire three times in the past 10 months.
In October of 2025, the property was among the targets in a string of alleged arsons; however, the suspect in that case is still in custody.
The last time the building was on fire was just last week on Aug. 2.
Saturday, just before 6 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire at the restaurant again.
At the scene in the 100 block of Main Street, crews found heavy smoke coming from the building.
Due to the extent of damage, firefighters arranged an emergency demolition to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation
