Winnipeg police are asking the public for help in locating a woman who’s been missing for more than seven years now.
The Winnipeg Police Service is looking for information in the disappearance of Ashley Arason, who was 34 years old when she went missing.
Arason was last in contact with her family on April 6, 2019, police say. Authorities previously said Arason’s last contact with family was on July 18 of that year.
Her loved ones have maintained it is out of character for her to have left with contacting her sister and mother.
“They continue to remain concerned about her well-being,” police said in a news release.
“The Winnipeg Police Service would like to acknowledge the hardship and pain that her sister and mother continue to endure as their loved one remains missing.”
Arason is described as five-foot-eight, weighing 110 pounds, with a thin build, shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes.
