Winnipeg firefighters respond to fire in vacant building on Sherbrook St.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to a fire in a vacant building early Sunday morning.

WFPS received a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. reporting the fire at a residential building in the 500 block of Sherbrook Street.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the building and contained the fire shortly after 9 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation.
