Winnipeg police urge high schoolers not to play ‘senior assassin’ game

By The Canadian Press

Police in Winnipeg are advising high school students not take part in a game often called “senior assassin.”

It’s a trend where graduating high school students use water pistols against each other off school property.

Police say some pistols are made to look like real firearms, and the game can alarm members of the public.

“Unfortunately, this social media trend can add unnecessary strain on police resources as units are dispatched away from community members with legitimate calls for service,” police add.
