Winnipeg police charge 2nd suspect in Lydia Street apartment complex death

Winnipeg police say two men have been charged – one with second-degree murder and another with manslaughter – in a 42-year-old man’s death last month.

The Winnipeg Police Service says Michael Harrington was found critically injured at an apartment complex on Lydia Street Dec. 21, 2025. He died in hospital three days later.

On Dec. 22, Conrad Fiddler, 27, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. That charge has since been upgraded to manslaughter.

On Jan. 8, the WPS homicide unit arrested 19-year-old Larry Richard-Hall. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

Both accused remain in custody. The allegations against them have not been tested in court.
