Winnipeg police asking for public’s help in identifying two suspects in robbery and stabbing incident

The Winnipeg Police are asking for public’s assistance to identify two suspects in a robbery that took place just after 10:30 am on July 13th in the 1600 block of Pembina Highway.

The victim was working on a vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by two suspects who asked for his personal property. While trying to steal his property, one suspect punched and stabbed him several times before fleeing on foot.  

Investigators believe the suspects may have been captured on the dash cameras of passing vehicles.

The first one is a man in his early 20’s, around 5 foot 5, with long dark curly hair.  He was wearing a tank top, red shorts and a gold chain.

The second suspect is a man in his 20’s, 5 foot 9 with a medium to large build. He was wearing dark shorts and a dark hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the major crimes unit.
