Partial skeletal remains found in river near Dauphin

Manitoba RCMP say they are investigating after partial skeletal remains were found in the Valley River, near Dauphin.
Monday evening, Mounties from Dauphin responded to a report that partial remains had been found by a swimmer in shallow river water.
RCMP say they are looking to determine the origins of the remains, and are trying to determine how old they are — whether historical or recently deceased. Investigators will be working with an anthropologist to determine this.
