Motorcyclist airlifted after serious crash on Perimeter Highway

A young motorcyclist is in critical condition following a serious single-vehicle crash on the Perimeter Highway Wednesday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near the westbound Perimeter and Pembina Highway around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. According to police, the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the collision.
At 7:54 p.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service reported that the man, believed to be in his early 20s, was airlifted to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. He remains in unstable condition with serious injuries.
No passengers were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
