Motorcyclist killed in collision with SUV on Pembina Highway

Winnipeg police say a 29-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV on Pembina Highway Wednesday evening.
The Winnipeg Police Service says the man was travelling south on Pembina when the SUV exited a parking lot on the west side of the highway around 7 p.m.
The two vehicles collided, and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his injuries.
The driver of the SUV remained on scene and met with police.
Traffic collision investigators are probing the collision.
Southbound Pembina was shut down for several hours.
