Winnipeg man charged for allegedly luring underage youths

Winnipeg police say a man has been charged with allegedly luring underage youths through social media.
WPS says they began an investigation after learning that a man had been using social media between 2023 and mid-2024 to allegedly exchange intimate image with minors, as well as providing them with alcohol, drugs and money.
On June 9, officers took 49-year-old Michele Buttari into custody.
He has since been charged with two counts of luring a person under 16 years of age, obtaining sexual services from a person under 18 years of age, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and sexual assault.
