New spray pad unveiled at Bronx Park Community Centre

On Saturday, the City of Winnipeg, along with the provincial and federal governments, celebrated the opening of a new 3,000 square foot spray pad, along with other features at the Bronx Park Community Centre.

Mayor Scott Gillingham said in a statement that the new spray pad is a great addition for families in Elmwood and an example of what can be accomplished when all levels of government work together with the community.

In addition to a new accessible spray pad, the project includes concrete pathways, seating areas (including benches and picnic tables), shade structures, a water fountain, a bike rack, and upgraded landscaping.
