Winnipeg man, 43, accused of sexually assaulting teenage girl

Winnipeg police have charged a 43-year-old man in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.

The Winnipeg Police Service is alleging the accused took the girl to a home on Cathedral Avenue on Sunday, where he allegedly drugged and assaulted her.

The man befriended the teen over the past year, according to police.

The WPS child abuse unit arrested the man after receiving a complaint from the teen.

Dwayne Edward Feschuk was taken into police custody Tuesday. He was charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.
