Man charged after several robbries in Weston area

Winnipeg police say a 22-year-old man has been charged in connection to multiple robberies days apart at the same convenience store.
WPS began an investigation into a man after receiving reports of attempted robberies at a store near Keewatin Street and Logan Avenue.
Around 12:30 p.m. on Mar. 9, a man entered the convenience store armed with a knife and had his face covered, and allegedly fled with around $50 in merchandise.
Around 3:20 p.m. on Mar. 10, the same man entered the same store, again with his face covered and armed with a knife, he allegedly stole around another $50 in merchandise.
Around 1:45 on Mar. 11, it was reported that the same incident happened again.
Around 1:25 p.m. on Mar. 13, investigators attended the area and reportedly noticed a man preparing to entre the convenience store with their face covered.
The man tried to flee on foot but was quickly taken into custody.
Since, 22-year-old Scott Justin Flamand has been charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of disguise with intent.
