Winnipeg police say a convicted high-risk sex offender who was recently released from prison is back in custody.
WPS says on Jan. 7, 52-year-old Marcel Hank Charlette was released from prison with several conditions, including a curfew.
On Jan. 10, officers attended Charlette’s residence to perform a curfew check, and found that he was not there. Following this, WPS issued a warrant for his arrest due to a breach of conditions.
