Manitoba’s Kinew the most-approved Canadian premier – again: poll

More than one year after being elected Manitoba’s premier, the honeymoon period is not over for Wab Kinew.

The Manitoba NDP leader is the most-approved premier in the country for the fifth consecutive quarter, according to a new poll by the Angus Reid Institute.

It found Kinew’s approval rating is 67 per cent.

“Kinew has delivered policies to address key campaign promises – affordability and health care – while acknowledging some issues will take more than a year in office to fix, especially when it comes to the latter,” the Angus poll determined.
