A major watermain break caused traffic delays on Friday morning along Logan Ave.

A city spokesperson says the leak is under control and Manitoba Hydro gave the appropriate clearances over the lunch hour.

They expect the repairs to be completed sometime this weekend.

There are 31 homes, a strip mall and a gas station without water.

Water tanks have been placed in the middle of the block and in the strip mall parking lot.

The lane will be closed until further notice further notice.
