Victim identified in fatal stabbing in St. James

Winnipeg police say the 47-year-old man that was fatally stabbed during an altercation in St. James, Thursday night, is Jeremy Norton Flett, a member of St. Theresa Point First Nation, who was residing in Winnipeg.
Flett was found with stab wounds around 10 p.m. in the 1800 block of Ellice Avenue say Winnipeg police.
Winnipeg police arrested David Justin Knott, 42, of Winnipeg with second degree murder and fail to comply with conditions of a release order twice.
He was detained in custody.
