3 teens arrested after Winnipeg boy, 16, fatally shot

Winnipeg police say two 15-year-olds and an 18-year-old have been arrested in connection with a teenager’s death on Oct. 5.

The Winnipeg Police Service says the 16-year-old victim died in hospital of injuries from a gunshot wound.

Officers were called to Boyd Avenue and Andrews Street around 6 p.m., where they found the injured boy.

On Oct. 23, investigators arrested the two 15-year-olds on warrants for second-degree murder. Davin Allan Joseph Evans, 18, was arrested Monday on a warrant for second-degree murder. All three were detained in custody.

The WPS homicide unit continues to investigate.
