The third-annual Anishinaabe Days Celebration kicked off Saturday afternoon, with hundreds of people coming out and gathering at Naawi-Oodena on Kenaston Boulevard.
The weekend, hosted by the Treaty One Nations, is a chance for Winnipeg’s community and visiting communities to celebrate Anishinaabe culture: by experiencing a traditional Pow Wow and taking part in other family activities… including the Anishinaabe Idol Talent Show and fireworks.
It runs through to Sunday evening.
