Winnipeg police say three people have been charged and a fourth is wanted in connection to the death of Ashley Isabella Murdock on July 5.
WPS says around 7:20 a.m. on July 5 Murdock was found dead inside an apartment complex along Kennedy.
The 28-year-old had been reported missing on July 3 after her last contact was reported to be on June 26. Police then began investigating the death as suspicious.
Through their investigation, police believe that while Murdock was found on Kennedy Street, she had been killed elsewhere and moved.
Police were able to identify four people believed to be linked to the investigation, and have been able to take three of them into custody.
Between July 14 and 18, 32-year-old Kelly Marie Kroeker was charged with second-degree murder, 28-year-old Kenneth Walter Young was charged with accessory to murder, and 38-year-old Charles Harold Wood was also charged with accessory to murder.
The WPS is still looking for Devon Charlie Colomb, who is wanted for accessory to murder. Police are warning the public not to approach him.
If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Colomb, they are asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
