Hundreds of people and families gathered in Elmwood Saturday to enjoy a day of fun and sun at the Happy Days on Henderson Festival.

Happy Days, which has been around for 22 years, encourages Winnipeggers to get involved with others in the community.

This year’s event had live music and entertainment, bike draws, animals from a wildlife rescue, a reptile exhibit, games and face painting, a silent auction and more.

It even featured an appearance from the Power Rangers.

“We’re here to morph up, and show you any time is morphin’ time,” Tyler Hartwick with the Peg City Power Rangers told CityNews.

Happy Days also invited federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh to do another famous “Jagmeet-And-Greet.”

“We gotta be out here to support the community and hear from people, that’s number one,” Singh said.
