Woman killed after being hit by vehicle in Winnipeg Saturday

Police in Winnipeg say one person is dead following a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Saturday.
The WPS says around 12:40 a.m. on May 4 officers responded to a report of the collision at St. Mary’s Road and Chesterfield Avenue.
Paramedics took a 38-year-old woman to hospital in critical condition, where she later died from her injuries.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke to officers following the collision.
