Parts of Manitoba under snowfall warning

Parts of Manitoba are under a snowfall warning.

Environment Canada says Thompson, Nelson House, South Indian Lake, regions south of Lynn Lake, Flin Flon, The Pas, Cross Lake, Jenpeg, Oxford House, Gillam, and Shamattawa will see about 15 to 30 centimetres of snow.

Snow started Tuesday evening and is expected to continue until Friday, easing off and on at various points through Wednesday and Thursday.

Regions south of Gillam and north of Island Lake might get some snow starting Thursday.

Environment Canada says visibility might be reduced at times, and roads might be difficult to navigate due to snow accumulation.

Conditions can be monitored on Environment Canada’s website.
