Man wanted for 2nd-degree murder in Winnipeg West End death

Winnipeg police have identified a suspect in a homicide investigation after the death of a man from St. Theresa Point First Nation earlier this year.

The Winnipeg Police Service says 30-year-old Tyron Custer Harper is wanted for second-degree murder in connection with the death of Kevin Delaney Flett, 26.

On Feb. 25 around 11:20 p.m., the WPS received a report of an injured man around Maryland Street and Wellington Avenue. Flett was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information is asked to call homicide detectives at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS.
