Winnipeg police continue to investigate homicide a year later

Winnipeg police say they are continuing to investigate the death of 33-year-old Treymaine Traverse.
On March 9, 2023, WPS says they were alerted to a suite at a hotel along Main Street, after Traverse had been found dead.

At the time, his death was considered suspicious in nature, and later deemed a homicide.
Police are still asking if anyone has any information regarding Treymaine’s death, people he had contact with, or his whereabouts leading up to his death, to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
