Woman charged in Winnipeg stabbing: police

Winnipeg police say a woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing Sunday evening.
The WPS says around 8:05 p.m., officers received reports of a fight at a home along College Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a 30-year-old woman who had been stabbed multiple times.
Police provided medical care until paramedics arrived and took the woman to a hospital in unstable condition. She was later upgraded to stable.
A 40-year-old woman from Winnipeg has since been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
