2 people wanted in connection to shooting in Bloodvein First Nation

The Manitoba RCMP says two people are wanted and one woman has been charged in connection with a shooting that put a man in the hospital.

Earlier this week, Mounties responded to a report of a shooting at a home in Bloodvein First Nation.

When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through the initial stages of the investigation, Mounties learned that two women and a man went to the victim’s home and tried to get in. At some point while trying to enter the home, a shot was fired and the 22-year-old was hurt.

Bianca Green, 26, has been charged with firing a gun with intent, aggravated assault, possession of a gun, and four counts of failing to comply in connection with this incident.

Another woman, 20-year-old Tashianna Hamilton, is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

The RCMP has described Hamilton as 5’4”, 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Police say she is considered armed and dangerous.

Lastly, Mounties are looking to identify a man believed to have also been involved in the shooting. However, they have not provided any details about him at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hamilton or about the shooting to contact investigators at 204-395-2020 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
