Man stabbed at Main Street hotel: police

Winnipeg police are investigating a stabbing at a hotel complex on Main Street in the city’s downtown on the weekend.

Police were called to the hotel early Saturday and found a 45-year-old man who had been stabbed in the upper body.

Officers applied a chest seal before the man was sent to hospital, where he was later upgraded to stable condition.

Police say the suspect fled before officers arrived.
