Winnipeg police charge man caught committing indecent acts outside elementary school

Winnipeg police say a 21-year-old man is in custody after being caught allegedly committing indecent acts outside an elementary school earlier this week.
Tuesday, WPS said school staff of École Varennes Elementary School in the Glenlawn neighbourhood, noticed a man outside an exit door committing an indecent act.
Officers say by the time they arrived at the school, the man had already left the area.

The man has been described as a man in his 20s with an unkempt appearance. He has a thin build and was wearing loose-fitting pants and a sweater at the time of the incident.
Officers were able to find the man, and he is facing an indecent act charge.
WPS say the school has been notified that the man is in custody.
