With their pre-season opener right around the corner, the Winnipeg Jets hosted their annual “Fan Fest” Saturday.
The event featured plenty of activities for the whole family.
The team also unveiled its new specialty jersey.
Dubbed “the Forty-Eight,” the sweater is a collaboration between the Jets and the Royal Canadian Air Force. It pays homage to the 1948 jersey worn by the gold-medal-winning RCAF Flyers.
The Jets will debut the new look on Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Night Dec. 4 when they host the Carolina Hurricanes at Canada Life Centre.
