Man injured after Furby Street shooting: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police are investigating a shooting in the city’s West End that sent one man to hospital early Saturday morning.

The Winnipeg Police Service says officers received a report of shots fired on Furby Street near Sargent Avenue around 5:40 a.m.

Police say they located an injured man who was taken to hospital. He was in stable condition.

Police also found damage to a home.

The WPS major crimes unit is investigating.
