WestJet network outage impacting flights Wednesday

Those travelling with WestJet on Wednesday may encounter some delays.
The airline says it’s experiencing delays with its booking partner, Sabre.
In a post on X, WestJet says the outage is affecting multiple airlines and could impact some passengers’ ability to check into their flights online.
“We recognize that it is causing some inconvenience for our guests travelling today,” the airline posted.
In that same thread, the company apologized for the disruption.
“We understand you may have questions regarding your upcoming travel. Our guest support teams are working as quickly as possible, where possible, to help accommodate guests until the issue has been resolved,” the post said.

The websites for airports in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto show a handful of WestJet flights with minor delays, ranging from 20 to 60 minutes.
