23-year-old Winnipeg woman killed in highway rollover: RCMP

Police say a 23-year-old Winnipeg woman was killed Sunday in a highway rollover near Sandy Hook, south of Gimli.
Manitoba RCMP say the woman – the passenger of the vehicle – was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver, a 20-year-old Winnipeg woman, suffered minor physical injuries, according to police.
Gimli RCMP say officers were called to a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 9 at 9th Avenue around 6 a.m.
Officers determined the vehicle was travelling southbound when it left the road, entered the ditch and rolled.
RCMP are investigating.
