Police: 4 men injured after downtown shooting

Winnipeg police say four men were taken to hospital early Tuesday morning after an alleged shooting downtown.

Officers received a report of a shooting on Spence Street near Cumberland Avenue around 2:15 a.m.

Police say they found three men suffering from gunshot injuries inside a residential suite. A fourth victim was located nearby.

The WPS says officers performed emergency medical care.

Two men in their 20s and two men in their 30s were transported to hospital in unstable condition.

Three victims were upgraded to stable condition. One remained in guarded condition by late Tuesday morning.

No arrests have been made.

The major crimes unit is investigating.
