Pedestrian, 20, killed in south Winnipeg collision: police

Police say a 20-year-old is dead after being struck by a vehicle in south Winnipeg Monday night.

The Winnipeg Police Service says officers were called to Bison Drive and Markham Road shortly before 9 p.m.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.

The 73-year-old driver remained on the scene and spoke with investigators, according to police.

WPS is investigating.
