Winnipeg police are looking for 28-year-old Christian Grant Patchinose in connection to a fatal collision, nearly a year later.
The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) have issued a warrant for Patchinose relating to an incident on May 30, 2022, when officers attempted to stop an SUV in the Deer Lodge neighbourhood.
Police say the driver fled the area and crashed into a tree along Truro Street.
Patchinose and a 16-year-old girl were both in the vehicle at the time and taken to a hospital in unstable condition.
A 22-year-old woman, who was also in the SUV, was taken to hospital in critical condition where she later died from her injuries.
Police issued the warrant on Jan. 24, stating Patchinose is wanted for driving while impaired, and dangerous driving which caused death or harm.
Since the warrant was issued, police have not been able to find Patchinose and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
