Winnipeg police looking for two people following armed carjacking

Winnipeg police are looking for two people after a carjacking at a hotel on King Edward Street.
WPS say just after midnight on Jan. 6, officers responded to a hotel after receiving a report that a couple was robbed of their truck.
The couple, in their 50s and 60s, were sitting in the truck when they were approached by an unknown man and woman, who asked them for a smoke.
After asking, the unknown man pulled out a gun and told the couple to leave the truck.
The man has been described as a 25-year-old with a slim build. At the time, he was wearing a long dark jacket, a black hoodie, black pants, and a camo neck warmer.
The woman he was with was described as wearing all black clothing.
The couple that had their truck stolen were not injured during the incident.
WPS have described the truck as a grey Dodge Ram 1500, ST Crew Cab.
Anyone with any information regarding the truck or the suspects is asked to call police at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
Police also say the suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous.
