Manitoba Green Party begins leadership race this week

By The Canadian Press

The Manitoba Green Party is starting its leadership race this week.

The party is looking to replace James Beddome, who announced in May he would not seek another term. He has been party leader since 2008.

Beddome increased the party’s vote share and took part in leaders’ debates during provincial elections.

But he did not manage to win a seat for the Greens in the legislature.
