Police seize cocaine, fentanyl, weapons in Waterfront Drive drug bust; two charged

Two people from Winnipeg are facing 12 charges each following a drug bust on Wednesday.

WPS say an investigation into the duo began in August, as concerns were raised regarding drug trafficking in the communities surrounding Waterfront Drive.

Police say they weren’t able to identify any suspects until September, when the Central Community Support Unit began an investigation.
