Manitoba waiving entry fee for provincial parks Labour Day weekend

By The Canadian Press

The Manitoba government is waiving the entry fee to provincial parks over the Labour Day long weekend.

Parks Minister Jeff Wharton says the long weekend may start the transition from summer to fall, but there’s still lots of time to take advantage of the parks.

“With free provincial park access this weekend, there’s no reason not to,” said Wharton in a release.

Vehicle permits will not be required from Friday to Monday.

Regular fees still apply for the campgrounds.
