Saskatoon man charged as drugs found in suitcase at Winnipeg airport

A man from Saskatoon is in custody after RCMP seized cocaine at the Winnipeg International Airport on Thursday.

Officers say they were called to the screening area of the airport as screening agents believed a suitcase contained drugs.

An inspection of the suitcase uncovered a brick believed to be cocaine.

Officers were able to identify the owner of the case, a man from Saskatoon headed to Toronto.

He was taken into custody and has been charged with identity fraud.
