Woman killed after being hit by dump truck: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a pedestrian was killed after she was hit by a dump truck in the city’s North End on Wednesday.

Police say the woman was hit on Inkster Boulevard near Cochrane Street around 11:56 a.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the dump truck remained at the scene. He met with police officers.

An investigation is ongoing.
