One person hospitalized following apartment fire in south Winnipeg

One person is in hospital following a fire at an apartment complex on Chesterfield Avenue on Thursday evening.

Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services says the fire in the 13-storey complex was quickly extinguished and was limited to one suite.

Paramedics treated one person at the scene and they were taken to hospital in unstable condition.

WFPS is now looking into the cause of the fire.
