Church bell stolen from Dauphin historical site

Manitoba RCMP officers are looking for some old items that are believed to have been taken during a robbery at a historical site near Dauphin.

The RCMP says it received reports of the theft, which included a bronze church bell dating back to the 1890s, on June 12 from the Director of the Trembowla Cross of Freedom museum and church.

Police believe the robbery occurred between May 29 and June 12.

They note the bell tower of the church was knocked over, at which time the bell was likely stolen.
