Winnipeg police seize drugs, cash, 3D-printed gun in drug trafficking investigation

Three Winnipeg residents are facing 59 combined charges following a drug trafficking investigation in the Springfield South neighbourhood.

Winnipeg police say they seized weapons, drugs, body armour and large amounts of cash while executing a search warrant at a home on Molson Street near Red Oak Drive on Tuesday.

The WPS’ guns and gangs unit seized cocaine, methamphetamine, cutting agents, two shotguns, a handgun, a 3D-printed handgun and about $30,000 cash.

A 29-year-old man is facing 22 firearms and drug trafficking offences, and a 31-year-old man is facing 20 firearms and drug trafficking offences. Both were detained in custody.

A 23-year-old woman is facing 17 firearms and drug trafficking offences. She was released.
