Homicide team investigating deadly Craig Street assault

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg homicide detectives are investigating an assault that ended the life of a 44-year-old Thursday.
Police say officers were called to a home on Craig Street near Wolseley Avenue around 1:30 p.m. for a reported assault.
Officers found the victim, Wendell Boulanger, seriously injured inside the home and began to give emergency first aid.
He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
WPS has issued an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Issa Musa, who is believed to be involved in the death of Boulanger.
Police say Musa is 5 foot 10, roughly 162 pounds, with a medium build. He is also known to have tattoos on both forearms.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Musa or events leading up to the death of Boulanger is asked to call WPS or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
