62-year-old man killed in pedestrian, car crash

WINNIPEG – A 62-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car Tuesday night.

Police say the man was crossing Main Street at Matheson Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. when a car driving northbound on Main Street hit him.

The man died at the scene.

The driver of the car stayed on scene and the WPS Traffic Unit is investigating.
