WINNIPEG – The City of Winnipeg is warning transit riders of a potential COVID-19 exposure from Tuesday.
The city says the bus in question was on route 16 and was in service during both the morning and evening rush hours.
The exposure happened on the morning route–the infected person got on the bus shortly before 8 a.m. at the Graham Avenue and Vaughn Street stop.
The bus was en route to Churchill High School.
The passenger was wearing a mask, and because of this Manitoba Health says the risk of exposure is low.
The city says once it was made aware of the exposure the bus was thoroughly sanitized and all employees considered to be a close contact have been followed up with.
