Man fighting for life in hospital following stabbing

WINNIPEG – Two people are in custody and one person is in fighting for his life in hospital after a stabbing Wednesday night.

Winnipeg police were called to Ellice Avenue near Sherbrook Street shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, first responders found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

WPS says it has two suspects in custody.
